Whitetail Hunts

When a hunter chooses to go after a record book buck, they must first find an area that has the potential to produce such an animal. “Location" is the most important word when beginning that search. At Oak Valley; we've made the decision easy for you. We believe we have one of the best places in the U.S. to hunt big mature trophy whitetails. After all, you cannot shoot a book buck if he is not there.

We are located along the Kansas and Missouri state line. This area of the Midwest is seated in the heart of the agricultural belt and is home to an amazing diversity of wildlife and terrain. Strict management by wildlife agencies in both states has resulted in a large area holding a healthy herd of whitetails with superior genetics. Miles and miles of prime habitat bend in and out of the lush crop land and native grass prairies found here. Literally hundreds of book deer are shot here every season.

By restricting the number of hunters and practicing Quality Deer Management on all of our farms, we have a free ranging population of whitetails that consistently produces bucks over 150 inches. With strategically located food plots and stands, success rates have been around 80% with rifle and 60% with bow. All hunts are fair chase, just like Mother Nature intended.
